Haydu Park has it all!

PLEASE NOTE: NO pets allowed in Haydu Park.

Dedicated in 2015, Haydu Park is home to 24 acres of baseball and soccer fields, children’s playground, restrooms, tennis courts, basketball courts, on-site parking and an expo area. It also includes access to several thousand feet of Kalama River frontage.

Haydu Park is the first large park built in Cowlitz County in more than a decade and is located at 253 Kalama River Road.  Parks are day use only.

No motorized vehicles of any kind are allowed in/on parks, sidewalks, pathways, or other pedestrian areas.

Baseball/Softball fields

There are three separate fields to choose from:

  • Field #1: Regulation high school softball (fast pitch)
  • Field #2: Non-regulation baseball
  • Field #3: Regulation high school baseball 
Multi-purpose fields

Three separate fields give ample room to play soccer, football and other outdoor activities. Please see calendar below for field availability.

Haydu Park Playground

Haydu Park Playground is one of the largest play structures in Cowlitz County. The barn-inspired play set was chosen as an homage to the Haydu Family farm, which was formerly sited here for decades.
